How did the Biltmore Estate get its name?

We were in Asheville on vacation and visited the opulent Biltmore Estate.  I had many thoughts and questions after the visit, the first of it was how it came to be called Biltmore.  I assumed it was based somewhat on the Vanderbilt name and I was sort of correct.  The name came about as follows:

“Bildt,” the region in Holland where the Vanderbilt family originated, and “more,” an old English word meaning upland rolling hills.
